You may not know me but I hope you'll take note of my anagram. Scramble the letters in Monkey Alarm and you'll get my name: Mark Maloney!
A Monkey who has been a sportswriter for more than 35 years, covering everything from T-ball to Olympics, basketball and football to bobsled and judo. World Series, Super Bowl, NCAA, NAIA and high school games. monkeyalarm.com will explore just about any sport you can imagine.
And more? I never know when a story outside of sports might catch my fancy. Over the years, I have written about musicians (including The Temptations, Coasters, Oak Ridge Boys), the Prince of Jordan and James Earl Jones. My favorite is a first-hand story when I became a kidney donor in March of 2000.
